Personal Projects

RFID Rhythm (2024)

• Created my own video game console with RFID technology using a Raspberry Pi and built a rhythm game in Lua with RFID character selection.

Chicken Quest (2018)

• Lead programmer and designer, made in Unity.
• Chicken Quest is a 2D top-down RPG where you must battle raccoons, solve puzzles, collect bugs, and achieve one of the three alternate endings in order to save your chicken village from a raccoon attack.

Girls Make Games

During the summers of 2022 through 2025, I acted as a Summer Fellow at Girls Make Games, a 3-week summer camp that inspires the next generation of designers, creators, and engineers. I taught girls ages 7-16 to build their very own video game prototypes in Construct3, Unity, and Unreal. Here are their games!

The Optometrist (2025)

• Mentored a group of 3 girls ages 13-15, made in Unity Engine in 3 weeks.
• The Optometrist is a 2D top-down horror puzzle game where you must venture through a series of floors in an optometry office while hiding from an evil monster in order to rescue your father.

Dragon and Valyx (2024)

• Mentored a group of 6 girls ages 11-16, made in Unreal Engine in 3 weeks.
• Dragon & Valyx is a 2.5D co-op fantasy platformer where you and a friend play Dragon, a dragon who can fly and breathe fire, and Valyx, a little elf who can interact with different objects. Together, you travel across multiple floating islands to defeat the evil human Mikarious and save Valyx’s family.
• Dragon & Valyx was a finalist in the annual Girls Make Games Demo Day Competition.

Shibu Fighter (2023)

• Mentored a group of 3 girls ages 8-10, made in Construct3 in 3 weeks.
• Shibu Fighter is a 2D platformer fighting game where you play as a shiba inu named Star. Star’s parents abandon her in the sewers, so she must fight evil blob monsters along with her cat friend Ginger to find and defeat her parents, who turn out to be aliens who want to rid the world of all pets!
• Shibu Fighter was a finalist in the annual Girls Make Games Demo Day Competition.

Koala Katastrophe (2022)

• Mentored a group of 3 girls ages 7-10, made in Construct3 in 3 weeks.
• Koala Katastrophe is a 2D platformer where you play as Kayla, a koala in Australia. Kayla must escape the extreme weather caused by the Australian wildfires while also protecting her newborn baby.
• Koala Katastrophe won the annual Girls Make Games Demo Day Competition.
